Abstract

Background. The need to develop a program for studying the history of everyday life of Soviet society during the Great Patriotic War determines the relevance of the chosen topic. The modern situation of question historiography accords to the initial stage of problematization of specific historical material. The aim of the research is to analyze the all-Russian and regional historiography of studying the military everyday life of the Soviet village, the methodology and methods for identifying the structural elements of daily life, their hierarchy, and the specifics of social interaction.
Materials and methods. The authors analyzes the russian historiography of studying the daily life of the Soviet village during the Great Patriotic War. The research methodology is based on the principles of a systematic approach to review of the Soviet society history.
Results. Because of applying the systematic approach, the research program of study the daily life of the Soviet village in the war era in modern Russian historiography is developed. The methodology of determining the structural elements of everyday life, their hierarchy and relationships was analyzed.
Conclusions. Totally all the behavioral strategies of the soviet peasantry felt the extreme effect of the war era. Changes affected all structures of everyday life: timing of daily and calendar time, weekdays and holidays, forms of leisure; habitat spaces; forms of social interaction, role functions, identification interpretations; the order of socialization of various groups; the order of sleep, nutrition, health care, other natural needs, etc. Studying the everyday practices of the soviet peasantry during the Great Patriotic War dictates the need to systematize the accumulated knowledge, and the first stage in this way will be specifically historical studies performed in the form of a complex study of everyday life structures.
